- CEUs and CCMs provided as negotiated
- Hard copy and disk provided as negotiated
- CCM works closely with the client to develop a curriculum with teaching approaches that will keep participants active, positive, and attaining mastery.
- Experiential, hands-on exercises are used to test knowledge and skill application during the training sessions. One exercise is "The Day in the Life", in which participants review, prioritize, and problem-solve a typical day's caseload of patient/family situations.
- CCM faculty know the content and objectives so well that they can adapt approaches and time frames to ensure that the participants are learning to the maximum.
- Client example: One large integrated health care delivery system provided a 5 day training session for the directors of case management for each hospital, as well as senior social workers and case managers. This was the first time they all came together, and they were charged with implementing many of the skills in the weeks immediately following the training.
- Client response:
"The work you and your team did here last week was great!! I am so impressed with the level of expertise and commitment that you and your staff have. What is so refreshing is that the experience and the knowledge is current and applicable. Many times you find that theory does not meet reality...this time it did!!
